Description:

Lovelorn Stanley Moon (Dudley Moore), a short-order cook at Wimpy bar, is infatuated with the beautiful waitress Margaret Spencer (Eleanor Bron). This unrequited love causes Stanley to nearly end his life until he is visited by George Spiggot (Peter Cook) - The Devil - who offers Stanley seven wishes in exchange for his soul. After accepting the offer, Stanley soon realizes "the Devil's in the details" as each wish he makes takes on a surprising twist compliments of the Evil One himself!

This modern-day Faust tale first introduced American audiences to "two of England's most inspired comics, Dudley Moore and Peter Cook" (McCall's). Bedazzled is a "fiercely funny" (Los Angeles Herald-Examiner) satirical look at the nature of man.
